Bio: Dr. Seavey received his undergraduate degree in microbiology and molecular genetics from the University of Vermont with a focus in immunology and undergraduate research. He went on to graduate school and received a masters and Ph.D. in immunology in the laboratory of Tim R. Mosmann at the University of Rochester. After finishing a postdoctoral fellowship in the laboratory of Yvonne Paterson at the University of Pennsylvania and becoming involved in several spin-out biotechnology companies and Wharton school initiatives he joined Cephalon as a team leader scientist and built his own group leading drug discovery efforts for oncology and inflammatory diseases. Dr. Seavey is now a pharmacology project leader in nonclinical development at Teva Pharmaceuticals and is responsible for liaising efforts between US and Israel R&D efforts for pharmacology in multiple therapeutic areas.
